I went to the Delmar loop. It feels like it has been a long time since I have been here. I talked to a woman who was trying to raise money for a charity, and she said while on the job that she could not talk about Jesus. I shared the gospel with her anyway. I met couple of Christian women, and one needs prayer for her boyfriend named Cash. What is funny about this charity that was raising money is that down the street there was another couple of women. I was able to talk to a woman, and she said she was Catholic. I shared with her that the actual gospel is Jesus dying on the cross for her sins.
Shalom. I pray that all of you are well and enjoying the love and grace of Yeshua.,
Hashem is faithful! I have been incarcerated for 20 years now. At first, I thought that God had forsaken me to allow such a thing to happen, but that just goes to show you that we will never fathom the mind of HaShem. God does everything for a reason and a purpose, and sometimes we cannot quite grasp it. The funny thing is that we are not supposed to, well at least until He is ready. Then it is just mind-blowing when we do. And that is what makes Him God! Hallelujah!
When Yeshua walked this earth, he had an incredible impact on thousands of people. Ultimately, he chose twelve in be part of his core group, and from those twelve, he invested most in three, Peter, James and John. These three were brought close into Christ’s inner circle, so that following His ascension, they were the emerging leaders of the nascent church.
The death of Queen Elizabeth II generated an enormous outpouring of grief and reflection for one of the world’s longest-serving leaders. To honor the late Queen, Israeli President Isaac Herzog attended King Charles III’s reception for heads of state and royal families attending Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in Westminster Abbey on Sept. 19. The royal family has had a complicated relationship with Israel and the Jewish people. Here are five things to know.
1 Thessalonians gives us what we all look for, the will of God for our lives. It also gives a command from God. He commands us: in everything give thanks. In everything give thanks. Everything. Why? Because we serve a good God. He does no evil to us. He wants us to rejoice in our lives regardless of the circumstance. We (those that have Yeshua) have that blessed hope and our lives are a continual reflection of this.
I am a baseball fan, and one of my favorite movies is “The Field of Dreams.” As a kid growing up in Chicago, my family once made a trip out to the place where they filmed that movie. It was a lot of fun to be there as a kid and feel the movie come to life. And to experience the sport I played took on a new meaning. That, however, moves into a common question that I sometimes get asked as a missionary and pastor. People will occasionally ask, “why would you want to bring the Gospel to those who are not searching for the good news of Jesus Christ? Isn’t that kind of rude?”
Happy New Year! Hag Sameach! Shana Tova!! Let’s prepare for the new year. Let’s clean house.
My house is a balligon. I mean a mess. I am in the process of moving again! This time it’s just room to room. But it's four rooms we are switching. Aghhh! It is so hard to think, work on my writings, focus on new projects, be creative, and it is actually depressing to me. Forget having guests over, and I love to entertain! There is no way. The bad part is that even when and if I can get the stuff shoved into a bedroom, I would go crazy knowing that the stuff needs to be organized and put in its place or thrown out.
